Yadkin Arts Council’s member artists’ work can be featured within the Welborn Gallery to kick off 2022 with the exhibit “The Colours of Winter.”
The Yadkin Arts Council has introduced its 2022 Welborn Gallery season of intriguing artwork displays that includes 3D stained glass works, coloured pencil drawings, watercolor work, a juried present, images and extra. The brand new yr will start with the Yadkin Arts Council’s Artist Member showcase titled “The Colours of Winter” on show from Jan. 13 – March 4.
The theme of the present is impressed by the artists’ recollections and the feelings the winter season evokes, and the colours related to these reflections. There can be a gap reception on Jan. 13 at 5 p.m. to rejoice this exhibition. The reception is free and open to the general public.
An Artist Member is an artist from Yadkin or the encompassing counties who has an curiosity in producing, promoting, educating, and becoming a member of a community of different artists facilitated by the Arts Council workers. Along with the chance to exhibit within the upcoming present within the Welborn Gallery, any native artist is welcome to be a member and might showcase as many mediums as they like on the Crimson Wall Gallery all year long.
The Council’s facility, the Yadkin Cultural Arts Middle, affords an artwork classroom, “The Artwork Place,” to deal with lessons or artistic gatherings. The Council’s present programs which vary from printmaking and paper quilling, to mosaic pendants and felted wool works, are taught by Yadkin Arts Council Artist Members.
