Jean G. (Gaumer) Ripple, 93, beloved mom, grandmother, sister and aunt, of Weatherly handed away peacefully Wednesday at Heritage Hill Senior Group, Weatherly.
Born Monday, Might 7, 1928, in Weatherly, she was the daughter of the late William and Myrtle (Brown) Gaumer.
She was additionally predeceased by her husband, William John Ripple, on Dec. 9, 2016; sister, Laverne Miller; and nephew, Bobby Miller.
Surviving are daughters, Gail Ripple, Bethlehem; Susan Marley, spouse of Gerald, Hazle Twp; brother, William Gaumer and his companion, Eleanor Hadesty, Tamaqua; grandchildren, Pamela Gasper; Patricia Gorka and her husband, Eric; Kaitlyn Marley; great-grandchildren, Danielle Eroh, Aubrey and Aaron Gorka; and niece, Michelle Miller.
A Weatherly Excessive Faculty graduate, Jean was an energetic member of Religion United Church of Christ, Hazle Twp.
Jean labored within the payroll division of Tung-Sol for 9 years, after which labored as a bookkeeper for plenty of firms.
A loyal mom and grandmother, Jean loved gardening and tending to her residence. Jean appreciated visits to the on line casino, enjoying bingo and playing cards.

A celebration of Jean’s life might be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Religion UCC of Hazleton, 21 Religion Drive, Hazleton, the Rev. Jean Hess to officiate.
Entombment might be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua.
